The scope of the services is:

  • The provision of know-how, manpower, materials, equipment, and supplies required to perform the services, including testing, operation, and maintenance of the Facility.
  • Ensuring the smooth and orderly operation of the wastewater treatment plant

The contract includes

  • Visit of engineers to the facility to regulate processes and supervise dehydration and maintenance work. On-site inspection of the electromechanical equipment of the installation for the detection of problems both in the equipment and in the individual processes, with continuous sampling of appropriate samples.
  • Carrying out any required laboratory and chemical tests on the above samples and notifying the results to DEYAM with a written Report on a monthly basis if no problems arise, or immediately if the tests identify problems of any kind, with simultaneous submission of a proposal for action to address each problem.
  • Elaboration of maintenance programs of the installation and supervision by a mechanical engineer of the Contractor of the relevant maintenance works, for their perfect implementation. Preparation and delivery to DEYAM of monthly maintenance programs. Computer monitoring and recording of all maintenance work.
  • Dealing with operational problems and repairing emerging faults
  • Supply of the required chemical raw materials (polyelectrolyte for the dehydration process and sodium hypochlorite for the disinfection of the effluent) and regulation of the relevant processes
  • Environmental monitoring of the installation to comply with current legislation and the Environmental conditions of the project. Carrying out sample checks on a monthly basis, by taking a sample from the final outflow and sending it to an external accredited laboratory
  • Carry out analyzes at least twice a month on the total solids in the dehydrated sludge, to control the efficiency of the dehydration process and to modify the operating parameters accordingly, in order to optimize the project economy.
  • Computerization and statistical processing of all, laboratory results, scheduled maintenance, and equipment failures. Delivery of the relevant computer and statistical data to DEYAM.
  • Preparation of a monthly report to DEYAM in which the result of the laboratory analyzes are presented, calculations of the efficiency of the processes, with submission of specific proposals for the confrontation and solution of the emerging problems. The above report is attached to the maintenance forms and the written observations of the mechanical engineer for the results of the visits - supervisions in the installation.
